Sunsynk MAX 16kW 48V Single-Phase Classic Hybrid Inverter with Wi-Fi
The Sunsynk MAX 16kW 48V Single-Phase Classic Hybrid Inverter is the flagship model in Sunsynk's low-voltage (48V) single-phase inverter range, designed for large residential properties, farms, commercial buildings, and high-demand backup power applications.
Engineered to intelligently manage power from solar panels, battery storage, the utility grid, and generators, the MAX 16kW delivers exceptional performance for off-grid, grid-tied, backup, and self-consumption systems. Featuring three MPPT trackers, built-in Wi-Fi monitoring, and advanced parallel capability, it offers maximum flexibility for large-scale energy installations.
System Information
The inverter delivers 16,000W continuous single-phase output power and supports up to 20,800W of photovoltaic (PV) input, making it ideal for high-consumption residential and commercial applications.
Three independent MPPT trackers maximise solar production across multiple roof orientations, while programmable operating modes allow seamless switching between on-grid, off-grid, and UPS functionality.
For larger systems, up to 15 inverters can be connected in a three-phase configuration (five per phase), providing up to 240kW of total system output. Alternatively, three inverters can be connected in parallel on a single phase to provide up to 48kW.

Warranty & Registration
This product includes a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
To ensure full warranty activation, all Sunsynk installations must be registered within 7 days of commissioning. Failure to register the installation may result in the warranty becoming void.
Important Installation Information
-
When performing firmware updates, place the inverter in bypass mode and ensure the PV input is switched off. Failure to do so may damage the inverter.
-
For battery protection, Sunsynk recommends using a Size 3 fuse holder with appropriately rated Size 3 fuses due to the high DC battery currents.
-
It is recommended that the output circuit breaker complies with SANS 10142-1 requirements.
-
Maximum inverter pass-through current: 150A
-
Recommended output circuit breaker: 100A
